I spoke to Colin today and he said the amps in the mdsm/4 and selekt amp modules are similar but not the same. If I’m not mistaken he said the dynamic range on the Selekt amp module was 110 compared to 104/106 on the mdsm/4

Now that the main system has also gone from exakt integrated to a passive system with a tundra 2.5 + Kabers the hunt for a good preamp is again on my mind. Has anyone tried non Linn preamps with a tundra. I know a sagatun would be most people choice but it seems like there are non in the used market...

Just an update. The stackable plugs from parts Express have been working well. It's just important to remember to loosen the screws when disconnecting the cables from the tundra.

I had a Linn Linto phono stage for awhile, it sounded really good and was priced nicely as well.

To my ears the Linto sounds a bit better in the bass section although the creek audio OHB15 mk2 sounds like it has more separation. I’ll leave the Linto in the system for a few days.
