Blacks vs Silvers is just different to my ears. Each is musically better than the other - just in different ways. Pain really. If you listen to the difference in sound between Rick playing and the recording you get what “good tune” is all about. :-)

I prefer Blacks for the first S&G track I prefer Silvers for the first 17 seconds of the 10cc track (cos the lead guitar makes more sense), and then when the whole band gets going I prefer the blacks. Yes, in a kind of “nutshell” that shows the differences between my Black and Silver interconnects....

Black first/Silver second………. so you prefer the Silver interconnect clips. :-)

I agree that Silvers has slightly more “finesse”.

To my own surprise I ended up using my Silvers with a slightly changed system setup.

The main thing for me is that I now can enjoy playing CD’s using any of them.

I still like them both for different reasons. What I end up using permanently in my system time will tell. :-)

I am not surprised that I now enjoy my Silvers. I am always open to the possibility that things can change when setup changes……..
