I have finally decided to sell my Hakai. This was my gateway into genuinely enjoyable streaming.

Ethernet Ribbon Cable
Volumio version 2 is installed and the settings factory reset.

Just connect the Hakai to your network and the Gigaport DAC to your preamplifier (channels 1 & 2 only), set up Volumio, and start enjoying great digital streaming. To my ears, Hakai is as enjoyable as a Linn Selekt Classic (the only Linn streamer I compared it to).

Note that I tried Volumio version 3 but decided that version 2 was more tuneful.
